I witnessed something really gross happen last night. Something I wish I’d never experienced.

I saw one of my heroes be a total asshole.

I was booked on a show called Odd Thursdays at the Palace, a Chinese restaurant in Los Feliz. There is a small upstairs room that has become home to a few…

i was there. it was really tough to watch. mostly disappointing. :<

Look all i’m saying is that i watched arj barker pretty much do that to a lesser extent but i don’t think he’s a dick bag forever. maybe he just had a bad day and was looking to unleash some anger or something, i dunno, i refuse to believe patton is inherently evil.

if this was written in a less bias light i would feel for you gurl but you seem so self righteous and for want of a better word: honourable. You should just realise that all your heroes are dicks, you’re a dick and your friends and family are dicks. Everyone’s a dick and everyone has those shit hole days, so suck it up because i’m sure if you talked to patton in person he wouldn’t yell at you and call you a pasty troll or whatever.

Plus, don’t any other comics kind of enjoy berating audience members? isn’t it a sick sadistic passion that is instilled in most hate filled stand up comedians?!

Oh shutup we’re all full of hate and you know it. Well down here in Australia…sydney specifically, i’ve heard they’re really nice in melbourne or something but who cares.

I’m confused… being honorable is bad? I think I might be missing the tone that was written in. If not - still confused.

Everyone does have bad days. I’ve been an ass to someone before and they didn’t deserve it. That doesn’t mean I’m proud of it. That doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be told/shown that it was a shitty thing to do. I firmly believe that everyone being a dick should have it pointed out. Hell.. Oswalt probably wont even read the piece. If he does; he may care. Good. He may not give a shit - then it wont matter anyway.

I hate to be cliche but… your life is what you make it. All the Australians that I’ve met have been some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life - which probably doesn’t count for anything. But still…

I could go on about chemicals in the brain, psychology, and how giving in to/enjoying negativity only causes you to focus on it and become depressed or more of a distasteful person. Oh, who am I kidding… Sarah Silvermans should all unite and form a colony. (My gawd how I dislike her so…)

George Carlin needs to rise from the grave. That man knew how to be a tasteful cynic and still deliver crude lines for the layman in us all. There is a difference.
